I'm a 23yo Aussie. I have 2 shitty casual jobs packing shelves and rearranging them. Situation soon to be rectified hopefully.
I live at home because its cheaper, mum does most things for me and I dont have to remember to lock up most of the time.
I'm a Rover. Thats basically scouts for big kids. We are joeys who drink. The 18-26 year old section of Scouts. I stumbled into rovers literally at the beginning of my 22nd year and have never looked back. It has to be the best fun one person can have. I have tons of new friends and plenty to do. My favourite are the moots (camps). Fun by day, party by night, all weekend. I have to admit that my particular crew is a bit odd/random/insane but that only adds to the fun. There is a serious side which is all about scouting values which is really interesting and useful and I have to say that I have learned heaps since i joined. I totally reccommend joeys, cubs, scouts, venturers and rovers to anyone.
I'm extremely Random. I voice my thought patterns which is really scary sometime. I'm not totally stupid but I have a short term memory like a sieve and a long term memory like an elephant. Give me three things to do now, I'll forget the third. Ask me about something that was said months ago, I'll repeat the whole conversation.
I have never been able to keep a diary in my life so who knows whats going to happen with this journal.
I'm a procrastinator. If I can do it tomorrow, I will. I work better under pressure anyway which is probably why I topped classes with essays done at 2am that morning. I can bullshit with the best of them so I can get away with it most of the time.
I love the Harry Potter books. I have my theories but I dont go nuts and bag the author because the story isnt going the way I want it too. Not mentioning any names.
I am an ebay fiend, I live off it but I also love garage sale. I spend almost every saturday morning scouring them. Most of the stuff ends up on ebay. :-P
I love to read. I ran out of ideas on what to read so I am reading the Angus and Robertson Top 100 for the sake of it, I've read about 30 so far. Thats another reason why I like garage sales. 50c Books.
I recently read the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich in a week. All 12 of them. One for the Money was on the aformentioned reading list so I borrowed it and read it. I loved it so much I went to 5 branch libraries in 3 council areas and borrowed the lot bar Twelve Sharp. I bought that one with my last $20 because it had a 3 month waiting list. They Rock! They are bloody hillarious, Totally worth it!
I love animals. I currently have 3 dogs, 1 fish, 8 ducks, 12 chickens, and 26 birds. It changes every week. They are pure entertainment. I'd rather watch my birds than tv most of the time.
Tv doesnt interest me anymore. I watch Lost, Las Vegas, Big Brother, and occassionally, House. I used to have post-it flags all down the side of my tv, 20 or so shows a week, but since started night work, I cant keep up. Rovers kills most of my time these days anyway and someone always has full seasons of something to watch during a drinking session (or while recovering).
I love Computers. I'm not great with them but I get by better than most. I especially like computer games. The Sims is my current favourite on PC and I love Nintendo games. I have a 64, all of the gameboys and a DS. I want a wii!!! (I've said that at the top of my voice in a shop before teeehee!)
I Ramble. A lot. In case you didnt notice.
